POSITION: Valuation Analyst Internship - Summer 2025

Brisbane Consulting Group, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lumsden McCormick CPA, is seeking a Valuation Analyst Intern to assist the department in delivering high-quality valuation and consulting services. The intern will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of business valuation and financial analysis, contributing to a supportive and collaborative work environment.  

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Assist in the preparation of written valuation reports for client presentations.
• Participate in client conference calls and meetings.
• Conduct company, industry, and economic research.
• Analyze general economic conditions and industry-specific trends.
• Research and analyze market data.
• Perform various financial statement analyses, financial modeling, due diligence, and report writing.
• Collaborate with senior analysts and staff on a wide variety of business valuation and consulting engagements across different industries.
  

EXPERIENCE

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Advisory, or a related field. Pursuing an MBA is a plus.
• Strong client/customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
• High degree of professionalism, exceptional work ethic, and initiative.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Experience in financial modeling and valuation is preferred.
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards.

INTERNSHIP DETAILS

• Duration: June 2025 through August 2025.
• Minimum commitment of 18 hours per week.
• Non-exempt employee status, entitled to overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 hours per week.
