POSITION: Senior Valuation Analyst

Our wholly-owned subsidiary, Brisbane Consulting Group, LLC currently seeks a Senior Valuation Analyst who will assist us in continuing to provide a positive and supportive work environment. Brisbane Consulting Group is the largest business valuation and management consulting firm in Buffalo, NY. We offer exceptional expertise in business valuation, license and degree valuation, forensic accounting, and the quantification of lost business income, commercial damages, and other financial services.

The Senior Valuation Analyst will work on diverse valuation and consulting engagements across various industries. The Senior Analyst will be involved in all phases of the valuation process, including data collection, management interviews, and due diligence. Responsibilities include conducting financial analysis and modeling, preparing quality earnings reports, and writing comprehensive valuation reports. Additionally, the Senior Analyst will participate in matrimonial and litigation valuation engagements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare written valuation reports for client presentation
  • Participate in client conference calls and meetings
  • Conduct company, industry, and economic research
  • Analyze general economic conditions and industry specific trends
  • Research and analyzing market data
  • Perform financial statement analysis, financial modeling, due diligence and report writing
  • Prepare quality earnings reports
  • Assist in matrimonial and litigation valuation engagements
  • Demonstrate strong client service and communication skills
  • Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Exhibit a high degree of professionalism, an exceptional work ethic, and initiative 

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Advisory, or Finance, (MBA is a plus)
  • CPA, CFA, ASA, ABV, or CVA credentials or candidacy (a plus)
  • Business Valuation experience (highly desirable)
  • 5+ years’ experience tax or audit in public accounting experience (preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge in Word and Excel
