Januszkiewicz Receives Prestigious Esther R. Sawyer Award

Congratulations to Kyle J. Januszkiewicz who, on July 27, received the Esther R. Sawyer Award for exceptional writing. The award was presented during The Institute of Internal Auditors’ (IIA) International Conference held in Sydney, Australia. Kyle received the award for his essay, “The Roles and Future of Internal Audit in Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC).”
Kyle joined Lumsden McCormick in July 2017 from the University of Buffalo after graduating with a Master of Science in Accounting, specializing in audit and risk management.
The award was established to honor the memory of the late wife of Larry Sawyer, author of The Practice of Modern Internal Auditing, and recognizes the best original student manuscript on a topic related to modern internal auditing. Submissions must be written by students from an Internal Auditing Education Partnership (IAEP) school.
