MAD Committee Supports Sew REDI Buffalo
Posted by admin , on June 29, 2017
This month Lumsden McCormick's MAD Committee coordinated their monthly jeans day to support SewREDI Buffalo, a Refugee Economic Development Initiative in Buffalo, NY.
SewREDI Buffalo uses the medium of sewing to teach economic empowerment and provide opportunities for self-sufficiency to members of Buffalo's refugee community. The people SewREDI works with gain marketable skills as well as a place to come together and share the experience of making something from start to finish. Learn more at: www.sewredibuffalo.com.
Lumsden McCormick established the Making A Difference (MAD) Committee in 2012. An employee–driven initiative, MAD provides opportunities for our professionals to volunteer at and donate to local organizations that are doing good throughout Western New York.
