The New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) Buffalo Chapter's annual Education Dinner honors students from local colleges and universities for academic excellence, as well as a members of the NYSSCPA who serve the accounting profession through his or her commitment to the NYSSCPA.

This year the Distinguished Service Award went to Lumsden McCormick audit partner Sherry DelleBovi.  Sherry, a past-president of the Buffalo Chapter, has been involved in the NYSSCPA since earning her CPA license, joining the Joint Committee with Attorneys/Bar Association of Erie County.  After serving as the Buffalo Chapter President, Sherry went on the serve in various capacities at the State level.
