Audit Department Promotions

Tim Bubar, CPA -  Principal
Tim has a combined 24 years of experience in public accounting and as CFO and CEO for a commercial business.  He has extensive experience in the areas of accounting and consulting services including design of accounting policies and procedures and systems implementation.  He performs a majority of the Firm's outsourced auditing and accounting services.  His outside experience as a CFO and CEO brings unique insight and value to family businesses.

Stephanie Bottomley, CPA, CHFP - Manager
Stephanie joined the auditing and accounting department in 2008 providing services to health care and human service organizations including hospitals, nursing homes, diagnostic and treatment centers; mental health service providers and medical practices; commercial businesses and nonprofit organizations.  As a manager Stephanie conducts the audit fieldwork and performs related tax and consulting work in preparation of financial statements. She also has experience in the areas of Single Audit, cost reporting and informational returns. 

Ryan Barnes, CPA - Senior Accountant
Ryan was successful at passing all four parts of the CPA exam prior to graduating with a dual Master of Science in Accounting and Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He joined our auditing team in 2013 conducting audit fieldwork for commercial businesses and exempt organizations. 

Amina Diallo, CPA - Senior Accountant
Prior to joining Lumsden McCormick Amina worked as a Transaction Tax Auditor for the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance while earning her MBA in Accounting from Niagara University.  She earned her undergraduate degree from Medaille College and has additional work experience as an accounting specialist and financial assistant at area nonprofits and commercial businesses, and continues her work at Lumsden McCormick with exempt organizations and commercial businesses.

Brittany Smith, CPA - Senior Accountant 
Brittany joined our audit team assisting with audit fieldwork for various entities including commercial businesses and nonprofit organizations. She graduated from St. Bonaventure University with a dual Master of Business Administration degree and Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting.

Tax Department Promotions

Amanda Mooney, CPA - Manager
Amanda is a tax accountant responsible for tax compliance services to businesses and individuals with a concentration in multistate and international taxation.   She joined Lumsden McCormick in 2012 after graduating from Daemen College with a Master of Science degree in Professional Accountancy. 

Julia Giczkowski, CPA - Senior Accountant
Julia is a graduate of Daemen College where she earned a Master of Science degree in Professional Accountancy.   She joined our tax team serving both individual clients and commercial businesses.    

Kelsey Kuppinger, CPA - Senior Accountant
Kelsey is a December 2013 graduate from Niagara University earning a dual Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration in Accounting. She joined our tax department in 2014 and assists our team to serve personal clients and commercial businesses. 

David Wesolowski, CPA - Senior Accountant
David serves as a senior accountant in our tax department serving businesses, individuals and trusts. He earned a dual Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration in Accounting from Niagara University. 

Brisbane Consulting Group Promotions

Brisbane Consulting Group is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lumsden McCormick. 

William Allen, CPA/ABV, CFE - Principal
As a member of Brisbane Consulting Group - Business Valuation Division, Bill is responsible for valuation, forensic accounting, and litigation support services. Originally hired by Lumsden McCormick in 2007 as an auditor, Bill gained valuable public accounting experience serving both commercial businesses and nonprofit organizations.  

Johnathon Miles, CPA - Senior Analyst
An MBA graduate of Niagara University, John is a senior analyst responsible for valuation, forensic accounting, and litigation support services for Brisbane Consulting Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lumsden McCormick.  He has prior public accounting experience working in the tax department of a Syracuse CPA firm and has commercial sales experience working for an automotive firm.
