Data Collection Form Due Date Change
Posted by admin , on October 27, 2015
This notice applies to nonprofit and government agencies required to file a Single Audit in accordance with OMB A133:
To our clients and friends:
We have been mentioning that the Federal Audit Clearinghouse website has been shut down since early July. OMB A133 requires that the Single Audit be submitted no later than 30 days after receipt by the client or nine months from the client’s year end, whichever is sooner. As a result of the FAC’s technical issues we cannot submit any single audit reports, nor is it possible to assist in the review of the data collection form, until the site is back. A release from the US Census Bureau, which is quoted below, gives you some reprieve on the deadline until the end of the year. We’ll keep you informed as soon as the site is back in business.
Last week, the US Census Bureau pushed back the extended due date of data collection forms due to the ongoing IT security investigation. Per the Federal Audit Clearinghouse website, https://harvester.census.org, data collection forms with due dates from July 22, 2015 through December 30, 2015 are now extended to December 31, 2015.
