Lumsden McCormick is pleased to announce that Donna M. Gonser, CPA was appointed to The Eric Wood Foundation as a member of the Executive Board.  

As director of our auditing and accounting services department, Donna provides a wealth of knowledge in auditing, taxation and other key areas to assist nonprofit organizations, governmental entities and businesses achieve their short-term and long-term goals.  Donna is able to parlay this knowledge and assist The Eric Wood Foundation with achieving their goal of providing seriously ill children with life changing experiences.

The Eric Wood Foundation was established in 2014 with the primary focus of providing children who are seriously ill, have special needs or are physically challenged throughout Buffalo, NY and Louisville, KY with daily encouragement and life-changing experiences. 

Donna Gonser’s primary client responsibility is management and oversight of services provided to exempt organizations and professional service corporations.   She has specific expertise with charitable organizations, foundations, governmental agencies, public authorities and educational institutions including colleges and universities and private and charter schools.  She also has significant experience providing services to law firms, other professional services firms and commercial businesses. Named partner in 2000, her professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Government Finance Officers’ Association.
