Jill Johnson, CPA, CFE and Stephanie Bottomley, CPA received awards at the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA)'s annual awards ceremony. 

HFMA is an Association of individuals who are organized to improve financial management of healthcare institutions and related patient care organizations, and to foster and increase knowledge of and proficiency in financial management; conduct and participate in educational programs and activities concerning financial management; provide media for the interchange of ideas and dissemination of material relative to financial management; strengthen cooperation among individuals of varying disciplines in financial management; develop curricula and financial management supporting material for use by educational institutions; cooperate with healthcare institutions and related healthcare organizations and agencies, and other interested groups in matters pertaining to financial management; establish and promulgate principles relative to financial management; promote and encourage financial management standards of performance for individuals and institutions in the various areas of financial management; and undertake research in financial management related to these objectives.

Johnson was awarded the Founders Medal of Honor.  This prestigious award recognizes an individual who has been actively involved in HFMA for at least three years after earning the Muncie Gold Award, has provided significant service at the chapter, regional and/or national level in at least two of those years, and remains a member in good standing. 

Johnson is an expert working with health care and human service organizations including hospitals, nursing homes, diagnostic and treatment centers, mental health service providers, and medical practices; nonprofit organizations; and government funded entities in the areas of auditing, Single Audit, HUD projects, taxation, information returns and financial reporting. Jill is integral to our Health Care and Nonprofit services groups managing our larger hospital and human service organization clients. 

Bottomley was awarded the Western New York Chapter of Healthcare Financial Management Association 2014-2015 Member of the Year Award. Bottomley provides services to health care and human service organizations including hospitals, nursing homes, diagnostic and treatment centers; mental health service providers and medical practices; commercial businesses and nonprofit organizations.
