Gonser Discusses Possibility of Nonprofit Incubator in Buffalo Business First

Donna Gonser, CPA, partner in charge of services to nonprofits, discussed the growing interest locally in creating a shared workspace and resources for several nonprofit mental-health agencies in Buffalo. Lumsden McCormick hosted Dan Meyers, Executive Director of the Al Sigl Center for a panel discussion on Strategic Planning Options for Fiscal Sustainabilty at the Firm's 2014 Exempt Conference, who shared the benefits and discussed the possibilty of a similar collaborative network of independent agencies.
"'Our initial goal is to find a way to provide centralized space to house a number of nonprofits where they can collaborate, and share space and resources,' she said. 'An added bonus would be to provide employment opportunities to people with disabilities, whenever possible.'"
