Lumsden McCormick is pleased to announce the hiring of Colleen McCarthy as a staff analyst with Brisbane Consulting Group, Amanda Moses, CPA as a senior accountant and Kevin Smeader and Angela Vacanti as staff accountants. Amanda, Kevin and Angela will be working in our tax department responsible for rendering tax related services to commercial businesses and individuals.

Colleen McCarthy, Staff Analyst, Brisbane Consulting Group
Colleen joins Brisbane Consulting Group full time as a Staff Analyst. Colleen is responsible for valuation, forensic accounting and litigation support services. Prior to joining us full time Colleen interned with Brisbane Consulting Group and graduated in January of 2015 with a MS in Professional Accountancy fromDaemen College.

Amanda Moses, CPA, Senior, Tax
Amanda joins Lumsden McCormick in the tax department as a senior accountant.She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Niagara University and is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  Amanda is co-owner of Revolution Indoor Cycling, LLC, an indoor cycling and fitness center in Buffalo.

Kevin Smeader, Staff Accountant, Tax
Kevin is a December 2015 graduate of Daemen College earning his BS-Accounting/MS-Professional Accountancy. Kevin most recently interned with a local automotive company and a nonprofit organization.  He was actively involved on campus as he helped establish and serve as VP-Finance for the campus chapter of ENACTUS and participated in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program (VITA).  In 2013, Kevin was awarded the Excellence in Accounting Scholarship by the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Angela Vacanti, Staff Accoutant, Tax
Angela was with the firm in 2014 as a tax intern and now joins us in a full time position. Since her internship Angela has graduated from Daemen College with a BS-Accounting/MS-Professional Accountancy. She was actively involved on campus and has participated in the Accounting Lab, ENACTUS, Accounting Club, Sigma Beta Delta, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance(VITA) program, and has served as an academic coach.  Previously, Angela worked at a local nonprofit organization and has volunteered in many community events.
