Lumsden McCormick is pleased to announce that Sara M. Dayton, CPA, Partner, has been named president of the Board of Directors of the SPCA Serving Erie County. Named Board President in January 2015, she has previously served on the Board beginning in 2009, working on various committees, most notably the finance, investment, and audit committees.

Sara has extensive experience serving governmental entities; she is the leader of our governmental services group and is responsible for reviewing all governmental financial statements.  In addition, Sara performs audits and related financial services for corporate and nonprofit organizations.  Sara is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants;  Institute of Internal Auditors;  NYS Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA); NYSSCPA Public Schools Accounting Committee; Association of School Business Officials, Western New York Chapter; the Government Finance Officers' Association, Western Chapter Advisory Council; and the New York State Association of Counties. She is a Registered Representative with 1st Global Capital Corp. holding FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses.  She graduated from the State University of New York at Geneseo.
