POSITION: Financial Advisor

Lumsden McCormick Financial Services LLC, an established and growing financial services firm located in Buffalo, NY, is seeking an experienced Financial Advisor to add to our team. The ideal candidate is a Certified Financial Planner™, Certified Fund Specialist®, or Certified Public Accountant who desires a role in a growth-oriented firm, wants to focus on financial planning and implementation, and will develop and deliver excellence for our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop strategies for clients related to Tax Planning, Asset and Income Protections, Business and Succession Planning, Estate and Gift Planning, Insurance, Investment Management, and Retirement Planning
  • Analyze financial data received from clients to develop strategies for meeting their unique financial goals
  • Assist clients with annuities, life and long-term care insurance, and managed money
  • Develop, manage, and retain strong client relationships
  • Review client accounts and plan regularly to understand if life or economic changes, situational concerns, or financial performance necessitate a change in their plan
  • Prepare or interpret financial document summaries, investment performance reports, and income projections for clients.
  • Meet with clients regularly to review progress against their financial plans.
  • Assist the Director of Wealth Management with meeting individual and team goals
  • Participate in client events

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree inBusiness, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • CFP™, CFS®, or CPA, or passed education and exam requirements
  • FINRA Series 7 & 66; Insurance life/health license
  • Experience in a full range of financial planning solutions
  • Strong passion and understanding of financial concepts and quantitative problem-solving
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a natural ability to connect with people at all levels
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
